Nadal finally nets Hamburg
Rafael Nadal finally won the Hamburg Masters title when he beat world number one Roger Federer in the final over the weekend.
This was the only clay Masters title Nadal had not won and now after winning this he has won all of them.
After losing to Federer last year in the final Nadal made amends this time but I think Federer could have won the first set had he defended his 5-1 lead but Nadal just proved how good he was.
I was also keen on the semi-final match when Nadal beat Novak Djokovic in what I think was a big test for Nadal but he managed to push aside the world number three to give himself a psychological edge ahead of the French Open which starts next week.
But I also think that Federer even though he lost was encouraged his performance but winning over five sets could prove to be too hard for him.
