Djokovic nets third win

There were no retirements in the final of the Rome Masters tournament as Novak Djokovic beat Stanislas Wawrinka in three sets.

When Wawrinka called the trainer I thought we were going to see yet another retirement and that would have meant Djokovic having an opponent retire injured for the third time in a row but Wawrinka managed to soldier on to the end .

In the end I think Djokovic used his experience after losing the first set as he came back to win the last two sets and win his third tournament this year.

I am keen to see Djokovic play Rafael Nadal on clay and that could happen in the Hamburg Masters.
