Hewitt pulls out of US Open
Lleyton Hewitt pulled out of the US Open and will be back playing next year.
According to his official website he will only be back playing in January next year after having surgery to his troubled hip area.
This means he will not be seeded for the Australian Open because his ranking can only go down now that he will not be playing in any other tournament.
Its very hard to see any Australians in the second week of the US Open this year and also the Davis Cup tie in Chile will be very hard to win without Hewitt.
But I hope that when he comes back next year he will notch some wins and go up the rankings again.
