Djokovic too good for Fish

Novak Djokovic proved too good for Mardy Fish as he took the Pacific Life Open in three sets.

Fish had a good run in this tournament but he did well to take the second set but Djokovic stormed back to take the third set and the title and his second for the year after the Australian Open. It seems like world number one and two Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal respectively have lots to do this year especially with so many players not having many problems with them. I think Nadal in particular will have to find a way past Djokovic.

Just last year for example, Nadal beat Djokovic in the semis of the same tournament and went on to take the title but this year he lost in semi-finals and that shows he has a lot of work to do.

Meanwhile in the women's final, Ana Ivanovic took the women’s title with a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Svetlana Kuznetsova to complete a Serbian double.
